Revision as of 16:55, 9 August 2015
Infinity Wars allows players to earn their cards or decks by playing. It does so by having an in-game currency called IP that allows all of the pre-made decks and even booster packs to be purchased.
Lightmare are currently monetizing mostly off cosmetic items, such as avatars, card sleeves (card backs) and battlefield cosmetics, which can be purchsed with Lightmare Points.
IP is earned by playing matches in the game, while LP is gained by spending money.
The ability to spend real money to buy cards is implemented, but is not enforced whatsoever. There are only two card packs (Omni and Star Trek) that aren't obtainable with the in-game currency, however they are not ranked legal and are just for fun.
This page provides previews for the battlefields and cardbacks along with links to the various booster packs availible.
Boosters
Boosters Cost 300 Lightmare Points or 5,250 Infinity Points
The Exception are the Promotional Cards which can only be purchased with Lightmare Points (Points Vary)
Battlefields
Battlefields Cost 950 Lightmare Points each.
Card Backs
Card backs can be purchased for 450 Lightmare Points.
Pre-Orders
Preorders are put on the store generally 3-4 weeks before a new set releases. Cards bought with preorder packs come with a platinum border.
